Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the ClaimUp mobile application operated by ClaimUp ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using ClaimUp, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClaimUp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. ClaimUp reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Description of Service

ClaimUp is a platform that helps individuals locate and reclaim unclaimed property and dormant assets held by state government agencies across the United States. We aggregate publicly available data and assist users in filing recovery claims.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to use ClaimUp. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, ClaimUp does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of search results. Property data is sourced from state agencies and may not reflect recent changes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the service, including submitting false information, attempting to claim property that does not belong to you, or using automated tools to scrape or access data.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings screen in the app.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software within the ClaimUp application are the property of ClaimUp or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClaimUp and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Users have no right to claim any compensation, reimbursement, or damages of any kind from ClaimUp in connection with the use or inability to use the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via in-app notification if changes are material. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
